Stehekin Tours
We invite you to tour Stehekin, Washington our beautiful, remote community in the North Cascades. A local guide provides information about the Stehekin community and local history. Stehekin is only accessible by boat, plane or foot, so your first step is to book your boat ticket for a day trip, or an overnight stay. Rainbow Falls Tour
Take a tour to the amazing Rainbow Falls during your visit to Stehekin! Enjoy the sights along your 3 1/2 mile journey up the Stehekin Valley. The trail to the path is short accessible to all ages and capabilities. An upper trail offers a little more uphill hiking, but is well maintained and offers an amazing view of the upper pool of the falls. This tour is offered every day that the Lady Express arrives (11 am – 12:30 pm in summer , 12:00 pm – 1:30 pm in winter). $20/Adults $15/Child 2-11.
A Glimpse of Stehekin Tour
Tour the lower 4 miles of the Stehekin Valley with a local guide. Visit the landmarks of Stehekin: Stehekin Pastry Company, Historic Stehekin School, Rainbow Falls, Buckner Homestead Orchard and Harlequin Bridge. We take a 30 minute lunch stop at Stehekin Pastry Company. This tour is offered every day that the Lady Liberty boat runs. Our guide will meet you at the Liberty boat dock to begin the tour once the Liberty arrives, approximately 9:15 am. We return to the Stehekin Landing by 12:30 pm for those departing on the Lady Express. The Glimpse is also available for private charter groups, and during select days in May and June during the Lady Combo layover. $39/person
Heart of Cascades Tour
Enjoy a full valley tour with a local guide. In the morning, visit the Stehekin Pastry Company, Historic Stehekin School, Rainbow Falls, Buckner Orchard and Harlequin Bridge. Take a leisurely hour long lunch at Stehekin Pastry Company and gift shop. After lunch, travel 11 miles into the beautiful upper valley to High Bridge, the entrance to the North Cascades National Park. Explore the High Bridge area, then board the bus for the down valley trip, stopping in at Stehekin Valley Ranch and the Organic Garden. See availability calendar for open dates.
